DR. C. A. GAY DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME
Pioneer Dentist Succumbs to Malady of Which He Had Long Suffered

Dr. Charles A. Gay, a dentist who for eighteen years had practiced in Seattle, died suddenly yesterday in the bathroom of his home, 3734 Brooklyn avenue. Heart disease, brought on by Bright's disease, is believed to have been the cause of death.

Dr. Gay had practiced dentistry longer than probably any other man of his profession in the northwest. He maintained offices at 902 Second avenue in the Rainier block for years and until a short time ago he resided there with his family.

Yesterday morning a member of the family found him dead in the bathroom of his home.

He is survived by a widow and one son, Lloyd. Two sisters, Mrs. Day and Mrs. Holcomb, live in this city. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the A. O. U. W.
