The camera pans past "Play Fair" to reveal "Festival of Creative Plays" and "Take a Peek 1 cent" painted on the fence. A young girl looks through a hole in the fence and is joined by more children. One of the boys drills holes and collects money from the children wanting to get a look at whatever is on the other side of the fence. A boy runs up to the group and beckons them to come with him. They all leave, except the boy who was drilling holes. Because he's just lost his "business" the drilling boy marks out the "Take a Peek 1 cent" and storms away. A group of people sit in bleachers, some sit on the grass. A man conducts an orchestra while children listen. Several different people make speeches and a young girl presents a large book to an official. |

Inside the fence, an event is underway with a band performing on a stage and several people near a microphone. A group of women in light dresses dance. A procession enters from a parted audience, led by four boy scouts with an American flag. They are followed by groups of children in various costumes, some of them meant to represent various nationalities. The children then perform a series of vignettes while groups of adults and children watch. Near the end, the children walk around in large circles. Balloons and birds are released to the sky and an American flag is removed from a flagpole by several boy scouts. A group of children with ballons sit on a wooden fence and a girl points to "The End!" painted on the side. |
