Title: About 10:00 a.m. the main cables get out of step and the frequency changes to 14 cycles per minute with a node at the center of the main span. [Color footage] View from right side of bridge, span moving, view from parking lot, people observing the bridge moving, bridge in motion. View from the left side of bridge. View down center of the bridge, car on bridge, tripod in center of bridge, person (presumably Leonard Coatsworth) exits car, walks down center of the bridge towards the camera. Car parked on bridge, movement quite violent. Title: 10:45 a.m. the first section of the main span falls. View from left side of bridge, span falling into water. View from the left side of remaining portion of bridge moving, people in parking lot, camera man winding film, moves camera. Title: 11:00 a.m. the whole main span crashes. View from left side of bridge as more of span collapses into water. |
