Descriptive NotesWolfe: Papier Tourniquet. Miura does not have an example of this specific pattern but does have one which is of the same time period and which is closely related in its look and creation, the German (Gustav) marble. Miura acknowledges however, the relationship between the two patterns by identifying other known names for it as Papier Annonay and Gustave Marmor.
Collection NotesThis example is scanned from a book cover.
The book has endsheets which are Turkish on Shell with Spanish pattern in brown and blue.
